Florence, May 19, 2023 – Being Honorary Consul of the Federal Republic of Germany in Florence, our founding partner and head of the German Desk SLVB, RA’in Renate Wendt, was honored with the title of Knight of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany, as a recognition of her over twenty years’ engagement in favor of the German and Italian community in Tuscany.
The ceremony took place on May 19 in the Giorgio Vasari Room of the Uffizi Gallery attended by several representatives of Italian and German institutions, and was followed by a lively networking event in the offices of the Honorary German Consulate in Florence.
